Research: Morphing Airfoils
Research · 2025 - 2027
Overview
Over the past two years, I have been working on variable camber (morphing) airfoils. I am researching, designing and building mechanisms that could extend or modify the airfoil in order to prove that they improve the overall battery efficiency of radio controlled airplanes. Radio Controlled (RC) planes have a lot of potential, having been used for both hobbyists and aerial photography, as well as wildfire detection by NASA.
